The town of Sorrento is famous for it's sweeping views and seaside lifestyle, much like McLaren Vale in South Australia, home of Serafino Wines.
The Sorrento range is inspired by two of Serafino (Steve) Maglieri's greatest passions, the seaside lifestyle and stong Christian faith. The pattern on the label has been influenced by the iconic dome of the Church of San Gennaro situated on a hill overlooking the sea. The shingles on the dome of the church form a beautiful motif that is distinctive and elegant, characteristics we believe are synonymous with our wines.
Small parcels of Shiraz are selected from one of our estate grown McLaren Vale vineyards. The wine has a distinctive varietal bouquet of red fruits and blackberries, followed by an amazingly rich palate of cassis fruit which is enhanced by savoury and spice flavours. A wine to enjoy now or take on your next trip to the seaside.

As a part of the picturesque landscape of Lake McLaren, a giant 300 year old Eucalyptus tree towers over the boutique winery. It is a perfect image to symbolise the strength and character of the wines.
Once again we selected fruit for this vintage from our Communication Road vineyard near Maslins Beach. The bouquet displays ripe redcurrant, morello cherry and cedar, while the palate shows blackberry flavours complemented by spicy oak overtones. A beatifully structured and balanced wine exhibiting a long lingering finish.

For this vintage, we selected premium parcels of fruit from two regions in South Australia. After fermentation the wine was matured in older American Oak barrels to retain varietal flavour and freshness. The wine has a lifted plum and mulberry nose with hints of pepper, while the palate shows berry and spice flavours, good structure and a long lingering finish.
